How to Play
A daily logic puzzle you can learn in a minute. No words, no trivia — just reasoning.
The three rules
- Balance. Every row and every column holds the same number of each tile.
- No three in a row. No more than two identical tiles may sit next to each other, across or down.
- All different. No two rows are identical, and no two columns are identical.
Each puzzle has exactly one solution, and you can always reach it by logic alone — no guessing needed.
Controls
- Tap a square to cycle: empty → first tile → second tile → empty. Or pick a tile below the grid and tap to place it.
- Keyboard: arrow keys to move, 1 and 2 to place, 0 or Backspace to clear, Ctrl+Z to undo.
- Squares that break a rule get a red outline and a “!” badge.
- Fixed clues have a small dot in the corner. Hinted squares have a dotted ring.
Scoring
You start with 1,000 (Easy), 2,000 (Medium) or 3,000 (Hard) points. Points drop slowly with time, and by 50 for each mistake (placing a tile that isn’t in the final solution) and 150 for each hint. Leaderboards rank by score, then time, then mistakes.
Tips
- Two matching tiles side by side? The squares on both ends must be the other tile.
- A gap between two matching tiles must be filled with the other tile.
- Once a row has its full share of one tile, the rest of that row is the other tile.
